Art has begun as of this last Sunday. Oh yeah, I see faces. Main character vibes are strong.

How are you all doing? We are getting close to year end. For me that is a new beginning. What I mean is that the facial features of the protagonist are being illustrated from ages 10 to 21. Every illustrator has their take, and there hasn't been a more defined look since 2009 (when Eye of The Keeper went on the back burner).

It is so cool seeing a character's design take place with a new artist onboard (I'll make a proper introduction to our most excellent imagineer in the future). Art is always a new start, drawing to drawing. We're always seeing something for the first time, then modifying, and finalizing. But we're also having fun, because we're deciding on which 80s haircut will be the prominent one.

So while Eye of The Keeper predominantly takes place in 1991, there are flashbacks to the 1980s. Google has suggested a bunch of styles. What do you think? One of these has got to be the one...

If not, some of these could be used in the background art.

What also excites me about this overall process is that we're getting closer to illustrating the special stories in the upcoming Ashcan. It's all coming together.
