Hey Friends,

It's time for my annual update. In today's episode we have a multi-layered chocolate ganache cake and a cup of mint cocoa to sip by the fireplace. While dessert and indulgences may be on ones mind during the upcoming holiday season, I can't think of another way to add icing on the cake then to top it off with my next announcement...Eye of The Keeper is ready to be published ("crowds go wild, haaaaa").

The project is still in deep final edits, but there's enough done to start the first phase of the launch through Kickstarter early next year. What once was a project that kept coming back to me over countless instances, has been my primary focus over the last two years, thus setting up the next five or more years of content. Ain't that a mouthful? But it honestly feels so good to be at this stage. I more than anyone love the cocoon of endless days of writing, but the chrysalis needs to split in order for the wings to emerge.

I'd like Eye of The Keeper to have an issue published before I get to Grain's second issue. It works out easier that way to manage both stories. And I do feel bad that I've waited so long to move Grain forward, and I miss writing more of his adventures (other than the ones that are already done and waiting to go).

I haven't said much about Eye of The Keeper as a whole, of late, so my next post will share just what this new issue will contain. Some of you may have seen me experimenting with my TikTok posts, which was fun and engaging in a different way then Facebook and Twitter, and I have yet to commit to it fully, along with YouTube. But the few posts I did make allowed for some creative bursts of one liners, using the same art, which were received decently for a first timer. Interestingly, the posts with the most likes had the least views, and vice versa. Analytics...such joy. #Sarcasm.

I've realized quite some time ago that being on social media is mandatory for working in comics (and for many other fields). So expect to see me online a lot, sharing the creative process and living out my career in real time. I mean it's a huge part of my life and most careers don't have people doing that. They get to go home and maybe forget about it until the next day. With me it's all the time. Creativity never sleeps, and if it does, its dreams are hard at work. Your support is epic in acknowledging all the little things that amass to my creations. You all know who you sweet people are (hint hint it's all of you) :-)
